How to make
Clean the mutton meat of fat (if any) and cut it into pieces. Season with salt and black pepper. Spritz with lemon juice and let them cool for 30 minutes.
Preheat oil in a deep pot. Add the meat, fry for 4-5 minutes. Add the finely chopped garlic and 1/2 cup of hot water. Reduce the heat and sauté for at least 30 minutes under a lid.
Pour the boiled mutton into a pan. The broth from the boiling is strained. Add milk and yoghurt, as well as pre-beaten eggs.
Mix until you get a homogeneous mixture, pour it over the mutton and bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until the sauce thickens.
Before serving, you can sprinkle with finely chopped fresh spearmint.
