How to make
Pour the sugar in a completely dry pot. Heat on medium heat until caramelized. Add the water and stir until completely dissolved.
Beat the oil (or margarine) into foam. With stirring, add the egg, caramel syrup, cinnamon and grated lemon rind.
Sift the flour with baking powder and add it to the other products. Mix until you get a homogeneous mixture. Pour the finished mixture into a pre-greased floured form for baking.
Bake on a low oven 300°F (150°C) for about 45 minutes or until ready.
