Ingredients

  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • cocoa - 1/2 cup
  • rye flour - 1 3/4 cups
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp or baking powder
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • soy milk - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/3 cup
  • water - 1 cup

How to make

Make a mixture of the sugar, cocoa, flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla.

Gradually add milk to it, then oil, and finally - the hot water, stirring until it’s a homogeneous mixture.

Pour into a shallow baking dish, oil it and bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 340°F (170 °C).
