"Yummy vegetarian meatballs for anyone who doesn`t feel like eating meatballs with mince."

Ingredients

  • leeks - 2.21 lb (1kg)
  • potatoes - 11 oz (300g)
  • cheese - 2 oz (50g)
  • eggs - 2
  • breadcrumbs - 3 tablespoons
  • black pepper
  • paprika - 1 tsp equal
  • salt
  • cooking oil

How to make

Finely chop the leeks and saute them in oil. Separately boil the potatoes and mash them. Combine them with the eggs, cheese, fried leeks, black pepper and salt.

Knead the mixture well. With wet hands, shape patties, roll them in bread crumbs and fry them in hot oil until ready. Serve the resulting hash browns with mayonnaise.
