Pizza

Even back in the time of ancient Rome, the Italians have been praised as culinary experts. Since antiquity, the preference for cooking meat whole has been preserved in the culinary traditions of what is now Italy.

An example of this is the preparation of pig, that is cooked whole rather than cut into pieces, or the making of meat ragout, where the meat is not cut into bits but stewed whole in tomato sauce.

Bolognese spaghetti

Aside from Mediterranean fish, that according to Italian traditions are prepared only when fresh, there are all sorts of seafood present in their dishes - crawfish, shrimp, octopus, crabs.

Cheese

It is a well-known fact that the preferred food of Italians is pasta. There are different types of pasta - ravioli, cannelloni, spaghetti, farfalle, macaroni and all kinds of others, distinguished by their shape and method of preparation.

Characteristic of Italian cuisine is the preparation of risotto. With it, there are also plenty of combinations based on this specific type of rice. Spaghetti are a preferred dish among Italians.

For the making of Bolognese spaghetti you will need 8.5 oz of spaghetti, 14 oz of beef, 1 2/3 cups meat broth, 5.5 oz of cheese, 1/2 cup of butter, 2 oz onions, 2 tomatoes, 1 1/3 tbsp green spices, black pepper and salt to taste.

Boil the spaghetti in salted water. Drain them and season with melted butter and black pepper. Julienne the meat and fry.

Throw in the onions, then the finely chopped tomatoes, season and salt. Pour in the broth and let it simmer on low heat until the meat is ready.

Place the meat in a dish along with the broth and pour in the spaghetti on top. While still warm, sprinkle with grated cheese or parmesan.

Of course, there is nothing more popular in Italian cuisine than their world-famous pizza. When making it, its combination with other ingredients is practically limitless, but as a rule it is mandatory to use some sort of Italian cheese - parmesan, mozzarella or pecorino.
