Apples are a product that is used quite often in recipes such as strudel, various cakes, pastries and other varieties of sweet things. It is quite a popular fruit, as there are many different varieties of apples and they all have their different tastes.
Most recipes require the apple to be peeled and cleaned, because its peel is hard and does not remain visible during processing, most people prefer to remove it.
To begin, wash the apple well, if there are any damaged bits on the apples surface, you can clean them with the help of a knife so that they do not give off a bad taste to the dish you are cooking. You can then peel the apple with a knife or a peeler.
I have noticed that for older people the knife is much more convenient - maybe they are used to peeling this way. But for me personally, a peeler is a much better option, and it is faster. With the help of a peeler, the outer protective layer is removed in equal thick strips, while with a knife this is much more difficult to achieve.
And so - the peeled apple is now cleaned out of its seeds and stalk and then it is ready to process it in various ways that are suitable for your recipe.
