How long does it take to bake carp? The baking time depends on the size of the fish itself, the carp recipe according to which you will cook it.

In general, for the preparation of fish dishes at a suitable temperature (180 to 200°C), the baking time is from 40 minutes to an hour and a half.

More important when determining the baking time for carp and the fish is to take into account the thickness (density) of the carp. If it is larger, it requires more time - at least 80-90 minutes.

For example, for a carp weighing 1 kilogram, baking is at least 40 minutes at a normal temperature (180 to 200°C). If you are worried that the fish may burn or dry out, the temperature is reduced and the duration is increased to 50-60 minutes.

If you decide to stuff the carp or have some kind of garnish around it, bake it for at least 80 minutes, provided that the filling is pre-cooked.

Carp stuffed with various vegetables, weighing about 1 kg, bake for 60-80 minutes, if it is fatter and heavier - from 90 to 100 minutes.
