Ingredients

  • strawberries - 11 lb (5 kg)
  • cherries - 11lb (5 kg)
  • sugar - 5.51 lb (2.5 kg)
  • citric acid - 1 tsp

How to make

Wash the strawberries and cherries. Take the pips out of the cherries and clean them, along with the strawberries.

Pour the fruit in a large pot of water without topping up. Put to boil until a thickened fruit puree comes out.

Then add sugar, stir and let the jam to boil until the appropriate density is evident.

Finally stir in the citric acid and pour the spilled hot jam into jars.

Close and sterilize them for 10 minutes.
