How to make
Smear the prepared shank with honey and mustard, then sprinkle it with the listed spices and place in an oiled clay pot. Dice the vegetables and add them to the pot.
Pour the wine over everything, plus about 2 cups water. Season with spices once again and place the lid on the clay pot.
Bake the dish in a preheated 300°F (150 °C) oven.
