How to make
Put the potatoes in a pot to boil with 1 tbsp salt. Once boiled, peel them and mash with a fork. Season with more salt to taste. To them add the milk.
Smear the bottom and sides of a medium-sized tray with oil and sprinkle with semolina.
Divide the potato mixture into 2. Pour 1 part into the tray and spread it out well.
Now it's time to lay on the ham, diced ahead of time. Lay out circles or slices of processed cheese on top of it.
Season the other part of the potato mixture with black pepper and spread it out on top of the processed cheese. Finally, finish off with grated cheese.
Bake in a moderate oven to a golden crisp.
The perfect appetizer for cold beer!
