How to make
In a separate bowl, sift the flour, add the baking soda and salt make a well. To it, add the egg which you've beaten with 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml) oil and the milk. Add the egg mixture to the flour one gradually, while stirring constantly.
Use the remaining oil for frying the pancakes. Pour 2 tablespoons of the mixture into the pan at a time and fry the pancakes on both sides. Turn them over with a spatula once bubbles appear.
Spend about 1 minute frying on each side. Garnish the Canadian pancakes with fruit syrup or maple syrup.
