How to make
Beat the soft butter and sugar to a cream with a mixer, add the oil, the eggs 1 by 1 while beating nonstop. Next add the sifted flour and baking powder, mixed beforehand, stir.
Pour the milk in a trickle, add the finely grated lemon rind, chocolate sprinkles (or use ground walnuts or raisins instead) and the vanilla.
Stir until homogeneous. Pour this mixture into a cake form that you've smeared with a little butter and put in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven.
Bake until ready, while checking with a toothpick. A quick, soft and irresistible cake!
