How to make
Wash and peel the tomatoes. Chop them finely or pass them through a grinder. I simply chopped them finely and poured into a large, wide tray.
Boil on 2 gas stove tops (since the tray is large). If you don't have a backyard, then make the appetizer that way.
Once it starts boiling, start stirring nonstop to prevent burning. Season with the salt and sugar. Taste it after a little while and if needed, add more spices.
Later, add in the banana peppers, white and black pepper, and optionally add garlic. Once thickened well and it leaves a furrow when you stir, add in the oil.
Turn it off, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Once cooled, distribute into jars and boil another 20 min. to sterilize.
