Ingredients

  • pork - 21 oz (600 g)
  • champignons - 9 oz (250 g)
  • peppers - 3, green
  • zucchini - 1
  • onions - 2 - 3 heads, old
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • tomato paste - 4 tbsp
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • parsley
  • oil - for greasing the saj

How to make

Put the saj on a gas or electric stove to heat up well, then smear it generously with butter or oil.

Cut the meat into small pieces, add them to the saj to bake with the coarsely chopped mushrooms. After the meat caramelizes a little, add the coarsely chopped peppers and onions, stir occasionally (don't worry, it won't stick to the saj).

Once the peppers soften a little, add the coarsely julienned zucchini and the coarsely chopped garlic. After a brief roast, add the tomato paste, spices, 1 cup hot water and stir. Leave it for another 2 min. on the stove to come to a good boil and take off the stove (don't forget, the dish will continue cooking another 6-7 min. in the saj).

A very important note - put aluminum foil around the stove top because cleaning up after is a real hell if you don't.
