How to make
Crumble the yeast in the warm water with the sugar, stir with 2 tbsp flour and leave it to bubble. Sift the flour in a tray, and in the middle pour in the yeast, milk, salt, oil, soft lard and stir with a fork to form a ball of dough.
Place it on a floured counter, knead a soft dough. Smear with oil and leave for 40 min. to double in volume.
Crumble the feta cheese in a bowl and stir it with 1 egg white. Beat the egg yolk with a little milk, for smearing the buns later. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out each one into a large rectangle, cut each in turn into smaller rectangles.
Make 4-5 cuts with a knife on one side, put filling on the other and roll it up. Arrange them in a buttered tray. After 15 min., smear them with the beaten yolk and sprinkle on sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven to a nice golden color. Perfect for the weekends!
