How to make
Wash the peppers, remove the stems and make a cut on each with a knife along the tip. This is done to get juice on their insides and thus flavor them better.
Pour the sugar, salt, vinegar and about 1/2 cup water in a jar. Stir, to melt the sugar, and add a few bunches of parsley on the bottom. Start arranging the peppers, finishing off with parsley at the top.
Add the black pepper grains and if you like garlic, throw in 2 garlic cloves, whole or chopped. If needed, top off with wine vinegar or water. If making them with vinegar only, they end up a little more sour tasting, which is why I like to add a little water too.
Close with plastic caps and put in a cool area, shaking them from time to time.
I called them express because they're ready in about 1-2 days.
