How to make
Grind the biscuits to powder and mix them with the melted butter. Spread them out in a form with removable sides, 10 1/4″ (26 cm) in diameter, while forming a 1/2″ (1 cm) high border around the circumference.
Press with a spoon and put the form in the fridge. In a large bowl, put the eggs, flour, milk, cinnamon and vanilla.
Peel 4 of the apples, remove the cores and cut them into pieces. Add them to the mixture and blend everything. Take the form out and pour the mixture over the biscuit layer.
Peel the other 2 apples, remove the cores. Cut them into thin crescents and arrange on top of the mixture. Start by forming an inner circle first, overlapping the apples slightly.
Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven about 1 hour or until your toothpick comes out dry. Smear the warm cake carefully with marmalade. Remove from the ring once fully cooled.
