  • mince - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • onions - 1 head
  • eggs - 1
  • bread - 2 slices
  • beer - 1 cup
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • breadcrumbs

How to make

Mix the mince with the egg, finely chopped onion, black pepper, salt and the bread which you've pre-soaked in the beer.

Form schnitzels that are larger than meatballs - they need to be flat and slightly elongated.

Roll them in breadcrumbs, dip in the beaten eggs and fry until golden.
