How to make
Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water. Add 1 tbsp salt, sugar, vinegar, 1 tbsp oil and warm water. Stir and add the flour, knead until you get a medium-stiff dough. Leave it to rise.
Saute the coarsely chopped onions in a pan with 2 tbsp heated oil until they soften.
Spread out the dough onto a floured surface, cut it into 4 3/4″ (12 cm)-long strips, wrap them around in spirals and place them in an oiled and floured oven dish.
Let them sit in it for about 10 min.
Distribute sauteed onions onto each strip. Sprinkle with the paprika and 1/3 tbsp salt. Bake for 20 min. at 360°F (180 °C).
