"A slightly different version of our favorite moussaka, with lots of cheese and peppers."

Ingredients

  • mince - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • potatoes - 21 oz (600 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • peppers - 1 red
  • cheese - 14 oz (400 g)
  • parsley - 3 - 4 bunches
  • oil - 2 tbsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • black pepper

How to make

Boil the potatoes with the peels. Then peel them, cut into slices. Be careful not to over-boil them so that you can cut them.

Braise the mince with the finely chopped onion and pepper in the oil until reddened. Season with paprika, salt and black pepper.

Cut the cheese into thin, square pieces. Arrange half of them along the entire bottom and walls of a round oven dish. Arrange half of the potato slices, pour the mince everywhere.

Cover with the other half of potato slices and arrange the last of the cheese on top. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and bake until golden in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven.
