How to make
First, dissolve the 2 packets of gelatin in 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) water and leave it to swell, about 5 min.
In the meantime, put the confectionery cream in a pot on the stove with the milk and sugar, stir until they come to a boil. Cut open the vanilla pod, scrape the beans off with a knife and put them in the cream, along with the pod.
On the other stove, put the swollen gelatin to dissolve in a water bath and once it's ready, add it to the cream.
Stir everything until it comes to a boil. Remove from the stove, remove the vanilla pod, stir well and pour into a heart-shaped form or small forms.
Wait for it to cool, put it in the fridge for 3-4 hours and decorate with the jam. Cut out a heart shape in the middle with a small metal form and fill it with jam.
Serve a slice of panna cotta with a glass of champagne.
