Ingredients

  • biscuits - 9 oz (260 g), plain
  • walnuts - 1 cup, ground
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • cream - 1/2 cup (125 ml)
  • powdered sugar - 1 cup
  • cocoa - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • for the cream mixture
  • cream - 1, vanilla - flavored
  • caramelized walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • for the glaze
  • dark chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cream - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • for smearing
  • cream - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

How to make

These ingredients are for a cake about 8″ (20 cm) in diameter.

Blend the biscuits and walnuts in a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients for the cake, without the cream, and knead well.

Make the vanilla-flavored cream according package directions and add the cream to it.

Place it in a platter/cake tray. Pour in 1/3 of the biscuit mixture, distribute it well and press. Pour in part of the cream, smooth it out and sprinkle with some of the caramelized walnuts.

Cover with the 2nd part of the biscuit mixture. Press again and smear it with cream. Sprinkle with caramelized walnuts and cover with the remaining biscuits.

Leave the cake to harden in the fridge for several hours.

Remove from the ring and smear it with the cream for smearing.

For the glaze, heat the cream and add the dark chocolate. Stir until it melts. Remove from the stove, leave it to cool slightly and pour it over the cake.

Decorate as desired. I used fruits, crumbled Oreo biscuits and grated white chocolate.

Return to the fridge. It's good to take it out about 10 min. prior to consumption.
