How to make
Braise the chicken thighs in heated oil until golden. Remove them from the container. In the same oil, put the finely chopped onions and braise until they soften. Add the cleaned and cut into strips peppers. Saute them as well, until they soften, while stirring nonstop.
Add the crushed garlic and chopped tomato. Saute them briefly as well. Pour in the cream and water, stir and remove from the stove. Season the mixture with salt, white pepper and nutmeg.
Arrange the chicken thighs in a suitable baking dish, distribute the vegetable mixture and cover with foil. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30 min.
5 min. before it's done baking, uncover the foil, sprinkle with grated cheese and finish baking.
