How to make
Grind the hazelnuts and almonds, put them in a bowl together with the candied fruits (diced), flour and spices.
Pour the powdered sugar and honey in a container with a thick bottom. Heat them until they melt and turn to syrup but don't let the mixture come to a boil.
Add the nut mixture and stir very well. Smear a suitable form with a little butter. Pour the mixture into it and even it out.
Bake the cake in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven for about 35 min. Take it out of the oven and release carefully from the form. Let it cool on a cooking grid for 1 hour.
Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and leave it for another hour. Cut it into very thin slices.
