"We have a weakness for Spanish tortillas, so we cooked and posted this one right away. This classic crunchy Spanish tortilla goes excellent with white wine and good company."

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - to taste
  • chili - to taste

How to make

Boil the peeled potatoes and mash them while still warm, season to taste.

Heat the olive oil in a Teflon pan and pour the mashed potatoes in it. Press down and smooth out the top.

Bake on the stove for about 10 min. on medium heat and then flip it over with a large plate or lid to help you.

Pour in the rest of the olive oil and slide the tortilla from side to side in the pan.

Bake another 10 min. and transfer it carefully to a serving plate.
