  • brown sugar - 4/5 cup (175 g)
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)

  • bananas - 9 oz (250 g), peeled
  • lemon zest - from 1 lemon
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • flour - 1 cup (250 g), self - raising
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • dried fruits - 1/3 cup (90 g)
  • walnuts - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Lay out baking paper into a 9″ (23 cm) x 4 1/2″ (12 cm) form, oil it lightly. Beat the sugar and butter, add the eggs one by one.

Mash the bananas with the lemon zest and juice and mix them with the mixture you just made. Sift the flour with the cinnamon and baking soda, add them to the banana mixture. Finally, add the chopped dried fruits and walnuts.

Pour it into the baking form and bake the bread in a 360°F (180 °C) oven for 50 min. Leave it to cool for 10 min. and take it out of the form. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
