How to make

Soak the wheat, beans and chickpeas separately in water the day before cooking. Boil them separately the next day.

Cut up the dried apricots and soak them in water. Soak the raisins in hot water and the figs in milk. Put the wheat in a separate pot to boil. Gradually stir. Once it begins to thicken, add the beans and chickpeas. Leave on the heat for 30 minutes.

Then add the rice and sugar. Then add the raisins, figs and apricots. Cut one orange into slices and put it in the pot. Grate the apple and put in the pot. Grate the rind of the other orange and drain its juice. All this needs to boil well. If necessary, add more hot water. You have to get a thick mixture.

Before serving, garnish with pomegranate, walnuts and hazelnuts.
