  • sweet potatoes - 1
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 4/5 cups (450 g)
  • milk - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml), warm
  • walnuts - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • yeast - 1 tsp, dry
  • black pepper

How to make

Boil the potato and peel it. In the meantime, sift the flour with the cinnamon, add the yeast, salt and black pepper. Add the mashed potato and walnuts.

Make a well in the middle and pour in the milk, stir and knead a soft dough.

Put it back in the bowl, cover and leave in a warm area for 1 hour until doubled in size.

Knead it once again, form a round bread and transfer it to an oiled tray.

Cover with a towel and leave it to rise once again for 1 hour. Heat the oven to 390°F (200 °C) and bake the bread.
