How to make
First, remove the skin of the shank, if there is any. Then wash it well with cold water.
With a sharp knife, make deep slits of about 3-4 cm (about 10 slits).
Then put one peeled clove of garlic in each resulting slit.
Sprinkle the shank with paprika, savory, salt and a little oil. Massage the meat well until the spices are mixed.
In the bottom of a glass baking dish, put the potatoes (chopped coarsely) and previously washed and peeled, along with the carrots and mushrooms, which are also cut into large pieces.
Season only with salt. Stir the vegetables and place the already seasoned shank between them.
Pour 50-60 milliliters of oil and half a glass of white wine over the food.
Place the lid on and roast the shank in a cold oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 3 hours.
