How to make
We begin to follow the recipe for the Italian Sweet Zeppole by beating the eggs in a bowl with a mixer.
Add the ricotta, sifted flour, baking soda, sugar and vanilla. Stir the mixture until smooth.
The Zeppole are prepared in an oil bath. Scoop out the mixture with a spoon and drop it into the heated oil. Fry for about 3 minutes until desired browning. Remove and place them onto kitchen paper to drain the excess oil. Serve them sprinkled with powdered sugar.
