For this fruit tart, mix the cubed cold butter and sugar in a deep bowl.
They are mixed with the help of the hands, the egg is added, a little later the flour and salt.
Knead hard tart dough, shape into a ball, wrap in fresh foil and put in the fridge for about half an hour.
During this time, prepare the plums. They are washed, dried, cut in half, and pitted.
For the filling, first, beat the eggs with the sugar until white. Add the cottage cheese and the sour cream.
After stirring, the starch is added and the mixture is stirred again until smooth.
The dough is rolled out and shaped into a rectangular or round cake tin. Transfer to a tray lined with baking paper and prick with a fork in places.
The cottage cheese filling is spread evenly on top, and the plums are arranged on top, fleshy side up. Finally, brown sugar is sprinkled on the cake with plums.
The plum and cottage cheese tart is baked in a preheated oven at 370°F (190°C) for about 45 minutes.
