Ingredients

  • feta cheese - 4.5 oz (120 g) block, firm
  • flour - 1/3 cup (80 g)
  • breadcrumbs - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • eggs - 1
  • walnuts - 1 tablespoon, ground + whole ones for decoration
  • honey - 1 tablespoon
  • oil - for frying

How to make

Take the feta cheese block, put it under running tap water and then roll it in flour and beaten egg successively. Combine the remaining flour, breadcrumbs and sesame seeds and roll the cheese in them.

Then dip in egg again and fry on both sides in a little preheated oil. Put the feta cheese in a dish and sprinkle with honey and crushed walnuts.

The recipe can be prepared with a cheese of your choice, suitable for frying.
