Ingredients

  • carrots - 2
  • peppers - 1
  • pinto beans - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • onions - 2
  • tomatoes - 1
  • spearmint - dry
  • paprika - 1/2 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • celery - 1/4 head + dry leaves
  • thyme - dry
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • chili - in flakes
  • pork ragout - 0.9 lb (400 g) smoked
  • salt

How to make

Wash the pinto beans and soak them in water for 12 hours. Then change the water and leave them boil on the stove. As soon as they boil, remove them from the heat and leave them for an hour.

Strain the beans and place them in a slow cooker. Add the finely chopped carrots, pepper, onion and garlic - whole cloves.

Add oil to the bean stew, paprika and chili or chili flakes.

Add water and turn on the appliance to cook for four hours. At the third hour, season with the spices and add the chopped tomato.

Add the pork ragout.
