How to make
Sift the flour along with the baking soda, spices and baking powder into a large bowl.
In a small saucepan mix the honey, butter and sugar and dip them in a water bath.
Then let the mixture cool and add the egg and pour the dry mixture in portions.
Knead butter dough, shape it into a ball and cover it with transparent foil.
Put it in the fridge to set.
Then roll it out into a thick crust and cut the Christmas biscuits out of it using cookie cutters.
Arrange them in a tray on baking paper and bake them at around 360°F (180°C) until done.
Decorate them as desired with various sugar decorations.
