How to make
Greek-style turkey souvlaki that will become your favorite.
The turkey meat is washed very well.
It is cleaned from the skins and cut into small pieces, which are put in a bowl.
The garlic is pounded in a mortar.
Pour the olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, dried oregano, garlic and cumin into a bowl.
Add the salt and pepper mix.
Mixes very well.
Pour the mixture over the turkey meat and mix very well.
The bowl is wrapped with foil for fresh storage and left in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
After it is removed from the refrigerator, the pieces of meat are strung on wooden skewers.
The skewers are grilled on a preheated grill.
For the sauce:
Goat yogurt is poured into a bowl.
The cucumber is washed, peeled and cut into small cubes.
The mint is cleaned from the stalks, the leaves are washed and finely chopped.
The garlic is pounded in a mortar.
Add the diced cucumber, lemon juice, chopped mint, garlic and salt to the yogurt.
Mix very well.
Wash the zucchini and cut it into slices.
Put them in a bowl.
Add the olive oil and salt.
Mix the zucchini very well.
After the skewers are roasted, grill the zucchini.
The souvlaki skewers are served with the yogurt sauce, the washed, peeled and sliced red onion and the roasted zucchini.
