  • apples - 3
  • puff pastry
  • honey - or jam of choice
  • cinnamon
  • walnuts - about 5.3 oz (150 g) ground

How to make

Cut 2-3 apples into thin slices, put them in a bowl of water and put them in the microwave for 3 minutes to soften them.

Spread jam or honey on strips of puff pastry. Arrange the apple slices on the upper edge (skin side up).

Fold the strip in half (lengthwise) so that it covers the apples.

You roll up the strip and shape it into a rose. Sprinkle with cinnamon and walnuts.

Place the finished apple roses in muffin paper cups in the tray and bake for 30-40 min at 360°F (180°C).
