How to make
In a little fat, stew the bacon, the onion and the carrot (finely chopped). Add the minced meat to them and mix until it becomes crumbly.
Add the rice, spices and pour some water. After 4-5 minutes, remove from heat.
Separate the sauerkraut leaves from the cob. Take a sauerkraut leaf and put 1 tbsp. of the mixture in it.
Wrap well and arrange the sarma in a baking pan.
Pour water and cover the baking pan with foil. Bake the dish for about 1 hour at 390°F (200°C).
Remove the foil, sprinkle the sarma with paprika and finish baking.
The oven-baked sarma with minced meat and bacon are very tasty.
