Ingredients

  • nettle - 28 oz (800 g)
  • phyllo pastry - 1 package
  • green onions - 6 bunches
  • green garlic - 2 bunches
  • feta cheese - about 1 cup, crumbled
  • eggs - 4 + 2 for the topping
  • milk - 1 cup
  • salt
  • black pepper - to taste
  • oil - about 1/2 cup
  • poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon

How to make

Wash the nettle, parboil it in hot water for a minute and drain it well. Chop the onion and garlic and put them to sauté in the hot oil. Add the nettle, salt and pepper and sauté for a few minutes.

Then mix with the beaten eggs and feta cheese. Begin to arrange in a greased tray, place 2 sheets, cover with the stuffing of nettle, a few drops of oil and place 2 more sheets. Repeat until you run out of products.
