Ingredients

  • new potatoes - 2.21 lb (1 kg)
  • parmesan - 3.5 oz (100 g) or Grana Padano
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • chili - 1/2 tsp. flakes
  • italian spices - 1 tsp. mix *
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • parsley

How to make

Choose medium-sized new potatoes.

Wash them very well, without peeling them, and boil them in salted water for 10 minutes, counting the time from the moment of boiling.

Then strain and cut the potatoes in half.

Line a tray with baking paper and add melted butter, all the spices, a little salt and grated Parmesan or Grana Padano.

Set aside a small portion of the butter and parmesan for sprinkling.

Mix well and spread the mixture evenly over the entire surface of the tray.

Arrange the potatoes cut side down on top of this mixture, spread with the melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.

Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven at 430°F (220°C) for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished baked potatoes with some finely chopped fresh parsley and serve as a side dish to roast meat or as an appetizer.
