How to make
Smoked mackerel is cleaned from the bones and skin and cut into pieces.
Put it in a blender along with the red onion, garlic cloves, cottage cheese and mayonnaise.
Everything is mashed until a creamy mixture is obtained.
The pate is seasoned with salt to taste, ground black pepper and lemon juice, then mixed again.
The Mackerel Pate is eaten spread on toast.
