Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 °C), put in the tray with the muesli mixture, after stirring it well and spreading it uniformly along the buttered tray bottom.
Bake for 10 minutes, then stir gently, particularly along the edges of the tray, where it burns quickly. Bake another 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
Add the dried fruits and ginger if desired. Allow it to cool. Before serving, mix the milk with the fruits, which you've blended to a juice or sludge. Sprinkle the muesli on top.
