How to make
We cut the cleaned apples into pieces and add them to a deep pot, we also pour the water over them.
Boil the apples until they are soft, then grind them with a food processor and return them to the stove again, boil until thickened.
Pour the mixture into the oven trays and dry in an oven with a fan at 180°F (80°C).
The pestil is ready when it starts to pull off from the bottom of the tray, is not sticky and is elastic.
Roll up the finished classic Turkish pestil and store in a cool place.
