  • lemons - 5 medium - sized
  • sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • water - 4 cups, ice cold
  • lime - 1
  • mint - a small handful, fresh
  • honey - to taste

How to make

You need a grill pan.

The mint is grinded in a blender with a little water and 1 tsp. sugar. It is strained. The lemons are washed. Cut them in half and dip them in the sugar - 2 tbsp. and arrange on a hot grill pan for about 8-10 min to seal well.

Remove from the heat, cool for a while and squeeze. The squeezed juice is filtered, poured into a jug, add 1/2 cup of sugar, mint juice, ice water, stir, cut lime circles and add honey to taste.

The lemonade is sprinkled generously with crushed ice.

Note: this recipe is very short but also very interesting. Roasted lemon with caramel flavor.

A pleasant light bitter taste is felt at the same time and sweetness from the sugar and the aroma of mint. It is mandatory that the ice is broken. I put it in a blender and grind it.
