How to make
Beat the sugar and eggs, add the pre-melted butter and stir the mixture with the flour and baking powder. Add the vanilla and grated peel of 1 lemon.
Bake for about half an hour in a moderate oven, until the crust turns rosy.
After cooling, pierce with a fork in several places and pour in the juice of the 2 lemons.
Optionally, make a white glaze from 2/3 cup (150 g) powdered sugar and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, which are heated and stirred for 10 minutes, then pour it over the cake and leave to cool.
