How to make
Mix the flour, semolina, sugar, vanilla and baking powder well.
The mixture is divided into 3 equal parts. The apples are peeled, the seeds are removed and grated, and cinnamon and walnuts are added to them.
Spread 1/3 of the semolina mixture evenly on a pre-greased baking pan, then 1/2 of the apples, again the semolina mixture (2/3) on top of them and cover with half of the oil. Then add the rest of the apples and finish off with the semolina mixture.
Pour everything with the remaining oil and smooth out the semolina strudel.
The apple strudel with semolina is baked in an oven preheated to 360°F (180°C) for about 90 minutes. To bake the apple cake on top, the oven fan must be turned on for the last 20 minutes.
Leave it to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
