How to make
To prepare the filling, grate the apples, mix them with the sugar, oil, cinnamon, biscuits and walnuts. Take a phyllo pastry sheet, sprinkle it with melted butter, cover with a 2nd sheet and sprinkle with butter.
Put 3 tbsp of the mixture at one end, fold the sheet and wrap it into a roll. Put it in an oiled oven dish, do this for the rest of the sheets as well. Bake the strudel at 360°F (180 °C) for 25-30 min.
To make the syrup, mix the apple juice with the sugar and leave it to come to a boil. Add the lemon juice and remove from the stove. Pour the cooled syrup over the cold strudel.
