  • spaghetti - 9 oz (250 g)
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • parmesan cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • bacon - 5.3 oz (150 g) or pancetta
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • black pepper grains
  • salt
  • olive oil

How to make

Put the spaghetti to boil in a pot of salted water.

Separate the yolks of two eggs in a bowl and beat them. Season them with crushed peppercorns.

Fry the diced pancetta in a dry pan.

Finely chop the garlic and mash it with the knife to make a paste. Add it to the pancetta too.

Grate the parmesan and set aside in a bowl.

When the spaghetti is ready, transfer it to the pan with the pancetta and garlic. Add from the water in which they were boiled. Season with salt and black pepper.

Put the pan on top of the vessel in which you cooked the spaghetti and pour the egg yolks inside. They will cook only with the help of the steam. Mix well and add the grated Parmesan.

Serve the Pasta Carbonara sprinkled with large flakes of Parmesan cheese.
