How to make
This egg panna cotta recipe is not a quick one and you will have to play around a bit to make it, but it is worth it when you see the joy in the eyes of young ones. Besides everything, it is also a very delicious dessert with milk.
You need 5-6 eggs. Poke a small hole in one end of each and shake out the contents. Rinse the emptied eggshells with water several times. In a pot, mix the cream and milk.
Add the sugar and vanilla and heat on the stove, being careful not to let the mixture boil. As soon as a lot of steam starts to rise, remove from the heat and add the gelatin softened in a little cold water.
Stir until the gelatin is well dissolved in the milk. For convenience, arrange the eggshells in egg molds with the opening facing up.
Using a piping bag, fill them. After 2-3 hours, put them in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Prepare the strawberry sauce in the following way: wash and cut the strawberries into small pieces. Put them in a pot, sprinkle with sugar and pour 2 tbsp. water. Boil the sauce for 10 minutes. After removing it from the heat, pour the lemon juice and mix.
Peel the panna cotta eggs. In small bowls or plates, put a few tbsp. of the strawberry sauce and add one panna cotta egg. Garnish the strawberry dessert with fresh mint leaves. Serve and enjoy this magnificent Easter dessert!
Enjoy!
