Ingredients

  • flour - 12.5 oz (350 g) + 1 tbsp. with a tip
  • fresh yeast - 0.6 oz (17 g)
  • milk - 5.1 fl oz (150 ml)
  • eggs - 1
  • oil - 2 tbsp (30 ml)
  • yogurt - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g) + 1 tsp.
  • cocoa - about 1 tbsp. for rolling
  • cinnamon - optional, for rolling
  • strawberry jam - 2 - 3 tbsp. or strawberry topping
  • topping - 2 tbsp. caramel

How to make

A spoonful of flour, a spoonful of sugar and the yeast are dissolved in the previously slightly warmed up to 100°F (37°C) milk. Let it activate for about 10 minutes.

Sift the flour into a suitable bowl and mix it with the sugar. Make a well in the middle of the flour and pour the oil, egg, activated yeast and yogurt into it.

Knead the dough for a few minutes in a food processor.

If you don't have such device, you should knead for at least 7-8 minutes, flouring your counter several times and greasing your hands. If you are kneading by hand, you need to dissolve the sugar and beat it with the oil, milk and egg.

Melt the butter over low heat and rub it on your hands. Cut pieces of the finished dough and shape them into balls. Roll some of them in cinnamon and cocoa.

Dip another part in the melted butter and arrange all the balls in a cake mold with a hole in the middle. Between the white balls of dough put jam of your choice or of the two types of topping.

It is good to have different colors to get the desired effect. Cover the tin with cling film and let the sweet bread rise until it doubles in size - about an hour.

Bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for 30 minutes. Before turning it over on a tray, leave it in the mold for a few minutes - to let it relax.
