Ingredients

  • cocoa - 1 tbsp. dark
  • water - 1 tbsp.
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • cherries - 60 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • flour type 500 - 1 and 2/3 cups
  • milk - 5.1 fl oz (150 ml)
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp.

How to make

We take out the eggs and milk and leave them at room temperature. Beat the eggs with the sugar in a bowl until a thick mixture is obtained. Add the oil and milk.

We sift the flour with the baking powder with a sieve and add them in parts to the other ingredients.

We remove the pits from the cherries and put them in a bowl. If you have pitted juicy cherries, put 1 teaspoon of flour in a bowl, sprinkle and mix.

If they are not juicy and watery, it is not necessary. We need 60 pcs. for the muffins.

Put 5 on a muffin or 10 halves. We will make 12 Cherry Muffins in standard size tins.

Separate 2/3 cups from the mixture and put the dark cocoa into it. Since the mixture becomes thick from the cocoa, we add 1 tbsp. water and stir.

Grease the molds with oil and flour them. From the light mixture, put 1 tbsp. with a tip and then sprinkle cocoa as a pattern, followed by the halved cherries - 5 pcs., light mixture, sprinkle cocoa mixture as a pattern, again halved cherries - 5 pcs.

We bake the cocoa muffins with cherries at 340°F (170°C) in a slightly preheated oven until done.
